Quincy Derby Accepting Registrations for June’s Event

Before you know it, the 2019 Quincy Derby will be held and registration for that event is now underway. The Optimist Club of Quincy will once again be sending box cars southbound down 18th Street toward the Tom Awerkamp Bridge with hundreds of kids driving those cars with smiling faces. The two day event runs Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15.

The Chairman for the Quincy Derby is Ray Wilson and he feels there will be record numbers of youngsters entering this year's event featuring multiple categories including the Super Kids category featuring kids with special needs.
