It's incredible that authorities caught this suspect considering where he was hiding out. A report says that one of Missouri's most wanted was arrested while hiding out in a homeless camp near the Mississippi River.

KZRG shared the story of a suspect who was wanted for questioning for two separate incidents of domestic violence. The suspect's name is Rico Bowens whose girlfriend told police that he shot at her when she was in her car in the month of July 2022. They report that police from the Fourth District say he was also accused of a prior domestic violence incident, too.

After distributing wanted posters in the St. Louis area, they report that officers found Bowens hiding among the tents of a homeless camp along Leonor K. Sullivan Boulevard in St. Louis near the Mississippi River. According to police, Bowens did resist arrest after he was discovered there.

St. Louis authorities have now officially charged Rico Bowens with "attempted unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm, second-degree property damage, and armed criminal action and third-degree domestic assault and resisting/interfering with arrest".

KZRG reported that Bowens girlfriend accused her of being in a relationship with another man which resulted in him assaulting her by grabbing her throat, punching her and throwing her down.
