Old Farmer’s Almanac Says Illinois Wins & Gets 3 Types of Spring
Have you ever seen a weather forecast that predicted three different things to happen all at once? If not, you have now. The new Spring outlook for Illinois from the Old Farmer's Almanac is predicting that Illinois will experience three completely different types of weather this Spring.
Of all the parts of America that were just given the verdict by the Old Farmer's Almanac about the upcoming 2025 Spring season, I would argue that the one for Illinois is the most confusing of them all.
What will happen in Illinois this Spring?
The answer really depends in what part of Illinois you live in. Check out the actual map shared by the "old" Farmer's Almanac.
If you're in the Chicagoland area and generally the northern 2/3rds of the state, you'll see normal temperatures and dry conditions. If you're in the southern quadrant of Illinois, prepare to be cool (in a temperature kind of way). If you live in a sliver of the western top of Illinois, you'll experience a rather toasty Spring, but it will also be dry. Dry is the only consistent element for all parts of Illinois.
Let's be clear about where this prediction is coming from. This is not the "new" Farmer's Almanac, but the old one which looks like this.
So, according to the sun, moon, starts and planets, Illinois will be confused this Spring...and very dry. You are welcome.
