National Salvation Army Week Spotlights Family Stores
Today begins National Salvation Army Week and locally the Salvation Army is inviting the community to "Customer Appreciation Days" at their area Family Stores.
Quincy’s location will hold its celebration tomorrow, Tuesday, May 14. Customer Appreciation Day at The Family Store in Hannibal will be this Thursday, May 16. Hot dogs, chips, drinks, and desserts will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at each store.
In addition to a customer appreciation luncheon, each store will be giving away a $20 gift card the day of the event with no purchase necessary. Participants do not need to present at the time of the drawing.
The Salvation Army Family Stores offer clothing, household furnishings, and a variety of other items at affordable prices. Money raised from the sale of items helps provide funding for social service programs.
