Star in a Movie About a Giant Spider Filming in Missouri Soon
Would you like to be a movie star? Would you be available to be a part of the filming production which will begin in Missouri soon? How do you feel about giant spiders? How you answer all of those questions will decide if this role is for you.
The website Backstage has a listing for a new movie production for a flick called "Don't Move". The producers are seeking talent in the Kansas City, Missouri area and it says "Roles paying up to $8,151.00". Sign me up. Oh, wait. There's a problem. I have a fear of spiders and here's why that matters.
The lead character is Megan Forrester who's just lost her husband and child in a tragic accident. While dealing with grief, she goes on a camping trip with a church group who make a wrong turn and end up in an uncharted area that is the home (wait for it) of a "terrifying prehistoric arachnid that patiently stalks its prey through even the slightest movement or vibration in the forest". (*Shudder*)
The production is looking to fill a number of roles including Jim Winston
Supporting Male character age 50-70, Maryanne Winston, Supporting Female character age 50-70 and Connor/Kylie Winston, Supporting. All Genders age 8-12.
The Backstage listing says the movie is casting and will be shooting in the Kansas City, Missouri area starting September 23 through October 18.
The plot reminds me of the A Quiet Place movies with maybe a little Bird Box starring Sandra Bullock. Perhaps this is your chance to become an A-list movie star...with a giant spider.
