Mizzou Surges Into Top 100 Colleges in America

One of the iconic places for higher education in Missouri is rising...higher. The University of Missouri has announced that the school has now surged into the top 100 colleges in America in one of the nation's most prestigious rankings.

I saw someone share this on the Missouri sub-Reddit today

It's an announcement from Mizzou that they are now ranked inside of the top 100 schools in America according to US News & World Report. The university says it jumped up 44 places compared to their ranking five years ago and is now #95 in America among the best colleges in the country. It says Mizzou also ranks among the top 13 for Best Value Public Universities.

"These impressive rankings show that Mizzou’s momentum is unstoppable, and we continue to reach historic heights as one of the country's leading AAU, flagship, land-grant universities," University of Missouri President Mun Choi said. “Mizzou's national and international reputation continues to grow, reflecting our dedication to transformative teaching, research and meaningful engagement that make a tremendous impact.”

I always aspired to attend Mizzou after high school. I had hoped to attend their journalism school, but alas this radio career came calling first. Darn the luck.
