One of the most prestigious publications has just released their 2025 list of Missouri's best colleges and the top 12 includes some real surprises with some smaller places of higher learning competing with the big boys.

US News & World Report has used their many metrics to decide which colleges and universities in Missouri are doing the best job at providing a true higher education in 2025. Among this top 12 are some smaller colleges which is awesome to see the underdogs get honored.

What's interesting is the Washington University, ranked #1 in Missouri, was also recognized as being the 21st best college in America. Quite an acknowledgement of the great job you're doing as a place of higher learning when there are few places in the country doing it better.
