This is what happens when you don't pay attention to Missouri weather for 15 minutes. There is a new outlook that says parts of the state could see snow (yes, snow) at some point this weekend.

My dad used to say if you don't like weather in Missouri, just wait 10 minutes

My wife, the ultimate weather nerd aka meteorologist, sent me a message today sharing what Midwest Weather said on their latest Facebook status. If this happens, I am putting all the blame on them.

Their prediction isn't insane. I knew that many parts of Missouri could get rained on this weekend. I also was aware that temperatures were supposed to be on the chilly side, however I had no clue that those two elements could combine into snow flurries. As they mentioned, IF this happens, there will be no accumulation. Just pretty flurries to remind us of the incoming deluge that will likely keep our shovels busy this winter. This is the kind of snow that I actually enjoy. The kind that's pretty and looks nice as it dusts the yard, but requires no human effort to get rid of. Bring that kind of snow on anytime. I will likely feel much differently in February, though.
