Missouri Driver Caught Speeding—You Won’t Believe How Fast
Someone has just earned themself a mandatory court date. A Missouri police officer has just shared radar information which shows an unbelievable speed that will be hard to explain to a judge.
Listen. I am not claiming to be a saint. I used to own a Firebird and really loved driving it, if you know what I mean. That being said, even in my craziest days I never clocked a speed (that I'm willing to admit) like what the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department just shared.
To quote Scooby Doo, yikes. I saw someone say in the comments that a speed of 123 mph in a 55 mph zone should be immediate arrest and tow. I don't disagree. I was in a high-speed accident during my high school years (shockingly, I was driving the speed limit) and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. The person I ran into was determined to be at fault, but the impact happened at nearly 55 mph and I ended up with a fractured skull out of the ordeal. The other driver was not hurt. I only bring this up to say that this person and everyone in their path is fortunate to be alive. Just one tiny mistake at this speed would likely not result in a second chance. Let's hope that whoever was behind the wheel of these moving violations will learn their lesson and not have to learn the hard way later.
