Missouri’s Best Chinese Food Isn’t in St. Louis or KC

If you have a passion for Chinese specialties, then your search for the best place in Missouri shouldn't focus on just the metro areas as a new ranking says Missouri's prime location isn't near either of them.

A new ranking from Cheapism says the best Chinese food in Missouri is found on at a corner - literally - specifically, this corner

This is Corner 21 Chinese Cuisine that's not located in St. Louis or Kansas City, but Springfield. They say that this spot was chosen "thanks to its deeply flavorful Sichuan cooking and...dishes like twice-cooked pork, chili oil dumplings, and Mapo tofu". That's why you'll see many videos shared by foodies who adventure to Springfield to try it.

While I'm most often limited to this genre of food that I find in the frozen food section of grocery stores, there's nothing quite like the real deal prepared the right way. I don't get to the southwestern part of Missouri very often anymore, but Corner 21 is now on my list if/when I do. No offense intended to my St. Louis and Kansas City area family and friends, but I'm always thrilled to pass along the word when one of the food places away from the big cities gets some recognition. Happy that this Springfield, Missouri Chinese place is getting some of that attention now.
