Missouri Hunter Killed a Mountain Lion This Past Weekend

We don't know a lot of facts at this point, but it does appear the Missouri Department of Conservation is at least confirming that a hunter in the state did kill a mountain lion this past weekend.

This jolting update was just shared by the Missouri Department of Conservation on their Facebook page this afternoon.

Based on that update, we know it happened in Iron County, Missouri, but no other details are known at this time including if the hunter was acting out of self-defense.
