One Missouri mystery has been solved, but it brings up yet another question. A missing Missouri woman and her two daughters who were reported missing have fortunately been located, but why were they nearly 1,000 miles away?

22-year-old Yajayra Suleyma Molina-Yat and her two daughters, 7-year-old Rosana and 6-year-old Irma were reported missing on an Amber Alert issued late Sunday night from O'Fallon, Missouri. The bulletin said that the mother was taken against her will in one vehicle and her daughters in another.

The good news is they have all been located safe according to a report by KRIS 6 News in Corpus Christi, Texas. The mother and her daughters were found in an apartment building near this intersection where Agnus and Cheyenne Roads meet in Corpus Christi, Texas which is 1,007 miles away from O'Fallon, Missouri.

A video report says the woman and her children were found with the assistance of the United States Marshals.

I've reached out to my contact with the US Marshals and they indicated that this was a multi-agency effort that resulted in the recovery of the two children and the arrest of two adults. The US Marshals office in the Corpus Christi region worked along with the FBI there to safely bring these children home. That's why the Amber Alert in Missouri was canceled.

For once, one of these dire situations has a happy ending at least for the kids.
