I remember going to Mid Rivers Mall in St. Peters, Missouri on days when it was so busy you'd have to park a mile away and then you were elbow-to-elbow with other shoppers inside. Not so much anymore, but this Missouri mall isn't dead yet.

I found a somewhat recent walkthrough from YouTube channel Slacking Packing of Mid Rivers Mall in St. Peters, Missouri. I haven't been there in years, but it's a shadow of the place I remember from a couple decades ago.

Compared to most malls in Missouri in 2024, Mid Rivers seems relatively full. I saw the video description say 75% occupied. That looks about right based on what they shared. I think it would be naive of me to hope there would someday be a return to the era when malls flourished now that we're in the time of online shopping and home delivery. Still, there's a part of me that has great memories of fun trips to places like Mid Rivers. I hope they can stay successful and continue hanging around even if modern society isn't as into the mall experience as it once was.
