An Idaho man recaptured his once held Guinness World Record by covering his wife's body in plastic wrap in just a little over a minute.

David Rush breaks world records to promote STEM education, breaking over 150 Guinness World Records so far.

In 2019, he set a record for covering his wife, Jennifer, in plastic wrap in 1 minute and 57 seconds.

He held the record for a short time before another couple came along and broke his record with a time of 1 minute and 29 seconds.

Rush said it took nine rolls of plastic wrap to practice for their latest attempt, and they managed to bring their time down, smashing the old record with a new one of 1 minute and 2.44 seconds.

The challenges for the record, according to David Rush, include making sure there are no gaps in the wrap job and ensuring that each arm and leg is wrapped individually as well.

It only took David 55 seconds to unwrap his wife from the mummifying plastic wrap.
