Looks Like Quincy’s Daylight Donuts Is Closed

Sadly we are saying goodbye to a local favorite in Quincy.

Daylight Donuts & Deters Frozen Custard announced on their Facebook page that they have closed their doors and the business is for sale.

A sign on the door as of Monday morning thanks customers for their patronage over the years.

If you have any gift cards with a balance on them, you are asked to contact Daylight Donuts through their Facebook page or by calling 217-224-3288 to get a refund.

When I first saw this posted I couldn't believe it. I had lunch there many times and enjoyed donuts in the office and at home like I'm sure many in Quincy did over the years. It was always a great place to pop in for a bite. Hopefully someone buys it up soon and starts making those donuts again.
