See Goats in Missouri? Don’t Stop Them – They’re Highway Workers
If you want something done right, find a goat and I'm not kidding either. As a matter of fact, if you see a goat alongside a road in Missouri, don't interrupt them. There's a good chance that they're highway workers.
I saw this fun story shared by KSHB 41 in Kansas City, Missouri. They interviewed an organization called Goats on the Go. Their efficient workforce of grass eaters has been enlisted to help lessen the green clutter on the sides of the highways. I, for one, don't think this is a B-A-A-A-D idea at all.
Goats and highways are such a big thing in Missouri, there's even a Facebook page dedicated to the munchers you'll see near I-55. Missouri Whitetails even shared a thing about Billy goats being spotted off of I-63.
Fox 4 in Kansas City also got in on the goat shenanigans.
I'm just thinking out loud here, but I have to wonder if these goats are interested in helping with my yard? With the recent rain, it's gonna need mowing again and, if they're hungry, they are welcome to come on by and chow down. Fairly certain they'd do a better job than me anyway. Like I said, want something done right (especially involving grass), get a goat to do it.
