1 of America’s Hottest Restaurants is a Missouri Hawaiian Place?
When I greet someone or say goodbye in Missouri, I don't say "Aloha". Perhaps I should as I've learned that one of America's fastest-growing restaurants is a Missouri Hawaiian place and you read that correctly.
The Nation's Restaurant News just shared what they consider to be 100 of the "emerging" restaurant chains in America. Near the top of their list is a Kansas City, Missouri chain with 48 units that specializes in Hawaiian Island grill food.
This Missouri place is Hawaiian Bros Island Grill. They say that this restaurant chain was created by two brothers, Cameron and Tyler McNie, 6 years ago. Now, it's growing well beyond the Kansas City area which is why it's been included in this new national list. They've grown 30% over the past year with annual sales of $111.3 million.
It's quite an accomplishment to become known for how great your Hawaiian grill food is in the middle of the country in Missouri. I haven't been through Kansas City that recently, but I have plenty of friends who regularly attend Chiefs games that will likely make this place a stop after the football games are complete.
