It's an incredible life safety net if you can afford it. A billionaire recently opened up the doors to reveal a doomsday bunker he's had constructed that is located near Kansas City, Missouri way below the Earth.

According to Atlas Survival Shelters, this place within one hour of Kansas City, Missouri is a  "revamped 1960s AT&T Bunker, now a dazzling space complete with a cinema, recording studio, workshop, and multiple cozy bedrooms". No exact location is given for obvious reasons, but it's quite a palace that hides beneath the Kansas City area.

Last time I checked in on this place, it was available for approximately $1.5 million dollars. That's quite a bargain for a place that's completely self-sufficient in an end of days scenario.
