It's not likely you'll see the historic once very 50,000 year comet any clearer than you will in the time-lapse video just shared showing it in the skies over Missouri.

Dan Bush of Missouri Skies just shared this crazy cool time-lapse video on YouTube. Just watch.

Space.com has all you need to know about Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF). As they stated, it "last passed through the inner solar system around 50,000 years ago". Wow, it's like Deja vu...if by some miracle you were alive 50,000 years ago. If so, let's talk.

This historic comet is just now reaching its closest point to Earth before it again heads back out into the galaxy away from us.

This is yet another reason why I highly recommend you follow Dan Bush and the Missouri Skies YouTube channel if you don't already. He's constantly sharing interesting sky events and this is no exception. The best video I've seen so far of a comet we'll never again see in our lifetime.
