Missouri’s Richest Man & Woman Suddenly Worth $8+ Billion Each
There's rich and then there's RICH. This is that second one. Did you know that the richest man and woman in Missouri are now worth more than $8 billion dollars each? The official real-time wealth tracker confirms it.
It used to be that Forbes would issue it's annual list of the richest people in the world. Now, they have a real-time billionaire tracker. Yes, that's billions with a very big B. For the wealth in the state of Missouri, two individuals stand high above the rest.
John Morris - current real-time wealth - $8.4 billion dollars
I like John Morris and I'm not saying that because I'd like to borrow 10 bucks. He's a self-made billionaire who's accumulated his wealth through his Bass Pro Shops brand. John (or can I call him Johnny?) Morris is also a philanthropist who gives generously to charities including his Johnny Morris Conservation Foundation which supports outdoors activities like hunting and fishing.
Pauline MacMillan Keinath - current real-time wealth - $8.1 billion dollars
Pauline MacMillan Keinath is believed to be the biggest shareholder of Cargill. By the way, that's a very good thing for the pocketbook. Her great-grandfather founded the business in 1865 and business has been very good to Cargill. I rarely see her make any public appearances, so not much is known about Pauline.
If you look at the Forbes wealth tracker, you'll see both John Morris and Pauline MacMillan Keinath have had big spikes in their riches over the past 12 months. The phrase "the rich get richer" has never been more true than for Missouri's 2 most wealthy individuals.
