Air fryers are amazing when they work. There is one very popular model, however, that's in many Missouri kitchens right now that's under an urgent recall according to a bulletin from the government.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says there's an air fryer that was sold over a two year period  in "Target, Walmart, Kohls and other stores nationwide and online" between August of 2021 and October of 2023 that has a very dangerous flaw. The CPSC alert says there have been "41 reports of the product breaking during use, including three reports of burns".

Here are the exact models that have reportedly sold to many in Missouri:

The government estimates there were approximately 319,000 of these air fryers sold. There's no confirmation of the exact number of how many ended up in Missouri kitchens.

The company is offering full refunds on these defective air fryers according to the SPSC bulleting. 

The government bulletin says you can contact them directly if you have any issues with receiving a refund on this or any other recalled products.
