Last season 23 different wood bat brands were used in big league games. With that much competition, player usage is crucial to wood bat branding legitimacy.

The 2026 World Baseball Classic starts Tuesday March 5, and runs through Tuesday March 17. A Missouri wood bat company has been invited into the WBC tournament.
