If my radio career ever goes away this is my backup. I loved looking at houses when we were buying our new home and it was something I think I could be good at. You do have to have a high school di[olma and go through state-required training to receive your real estate license, but if you are successful you can make some really good money. Since this career is based on commissions the more you hussle the more you make. ZipRecruiter puts this average salary for a real estate agent in Missouri as low as $26,000 and up to $140,000.

So, don't get discouraged if you don't get into the school you want or need to explain to your parents that you don't want to go to college. There are plenty of high-paying careers that you can choose from.
