Rich Cain Headed to KHQA-TV

After over a year of being off of local television, long time TV personality and meteorologist Rich Cain is returning to the television airwaves with KHQA-TV. Cain had previously worked at WGEM-TV before leaving the station in 2014.  KHQA is reporting on their website and on social media pages that Cain will begin working for the Sinclair Broadcasting Group owned KHQA-TV this Thursday.

Rich and I had the opportunity to "play radio" together back in October of last year on Y101 when he co-hosted the morning show with me for a couple of days. Everyone in this area knows Rich from his days as Meteorologist on WGEM-TV, but few know that Rich started his Quincy media days as a radio announcer.

The irony is that I actually hired him for WTAD and 99Q back in the mid 80s. I thought there might be a few other things you didn't know about Rich so I took the opportunity to interview him. Here is that October of 2015 interview with Rich.
