Hit TV Show ‘American Pickers’ Coming to Illinois & Missouri

The History Channel's hit show American Pickers is coming to Illinois and Missouri and they are looking for areas to find treasures. In a press release, the show plans to film episodes of the hit show throughout our area in May. The press release does mention how the show and the crew will face COVID-19,
We at American Pickers are taking the pandemic very seriously and will be following all guidelines and protocols for safe filming as outlined by the state and CDC. While we plan to be in Illinois/Missouri this May, we will continue to reschedule if conditions change for the worse. Regardless, we are excited to continue to reach the many collectors in the area to discuss their years of picking!
My husband and I LOVE this show, and the host Mike and Danielle are so knowledge in pretty much everything they find. They love history, and find treasures to bring them back to life and resale the items. It's a really good show, which is based out of Iowa. They own a shop called Antique Archaeology in LeClaire, Iowa.
If you're unfamiliar with the show, American Pickers is a documentary series that travels all over the USA to "pick" at people's treasure in hopes to find valuable antiques. It's is the shows focus to uncover these valuable items and share the interesting story behind them. Plus, you get to know some of the history in our area which is a bonus, and there is a ton of history in both Illinois and Missouri. From the Lincoln Douglas Debate, to Mark Twain, and everything in between, there is so much more to discover in our area.
