Hannibal City Council Okays Return of Twain on Main
Hannibal’s Memorial Day weekend celebration of the works of its favorite son will be back in 2021.

The Hannibal City Council Tuesday night approved a number of requests by the Historic Hannibal Marketing Council in connection with the annual Twain on Main festival.
The council okayed the closing of certain downtown streets for the weekend, the use of city owned property and the sale of alcohol on city owned property and the discharge of firearms loaded with blanks.
HHMC assured the council that extra precautions would be taken to encourage social distancing during Twain on Main, which will run May 28th through the 30th.
