Germanfest Returning to South Park in May

The Sister City Commission announced at their monthly meeting that they will host the Germanfest on Saturday, May 31 in South Park. According to Mecki Kosin, the festival will come back in its original form, with food, drink and music.

Brats and other like items will be for sale by County Market, the beer distributors will have their beer trucks there, Refreshment Services Pepsi will have non alcoholic beverages for sale, and the Heidelberg Dutchmen will play at the event.

The festival will be from 5 to 11 p.m. near the large shelter house in South Park in Quincy.
