Odd Thing People Do at Jesse James Brother Frank’s Missouri Grave
It's been said that history is written by the victors and I believe there's an element of truth to that. That may be why many people do something odd when they visit Jesse James brother Frank's grave in Independence, Missouri.
History Hunters on YouTube recently visited Frank James humble grave in a small cemetery in a neighborhood in Independence, Missouri. There's something very unique people do when they visit the grave. Look at this.

Isn't it interesting that people choose to leave coins out of respect for Ann Ralston James, Frank's wife, but not him? As the History Hunters host mentioned, it's believed that many are showing respect to his wife, but not Frank as a statement against his life. He points out (and I agree) that if Frank James had died the way Jesse did, he likely would have been remembered as a hero, but since he spent his latter years charging for admission to the James farm, he was seen as an opportunist.
Isn't it odd how people choose to remember history based on what their perception of the truth is compared to what history really teaches us is fact?
