Former Cardinals Tom Pagnozzi & Ken Dayley Are Coming to Quincy
For baseball fans and memorabilia collectors in and around the Quincy area, the Quincy Mall’s annual Baseball Card Show is a must-see every January. Now in its 31st year, the show is welcoming two fan favorites from past eras of Cardinals baseball.
Pitcher Ken Dayley and catcher Tom Pagnozzi have been announced as the special guests for the 2019 show. Dayley will be signing autographs on Saturday, January 26 from noon to 2:00 pm. Pagnozzi will be signing from noon to 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 27.
Both former redbirds will be signing for free, but autograph seekers must have a line ticket to redeem for a signature. Line tickets will be distributed on a first come first serve basis beginning at 10:00 am each day. And with only two hours per signing, you’ll want to secure your line tickets earlier than later to ensure you get through.
Dayley pitched in relief for the Cardinals from 1984 to 1990. From 1985 to 1987, Dayley appeared in sixteen postseason games in which he fanned 15 batters and posted an ERA of just 0.44.
Pagnozzi spent his entire twelve-year career with the Cardinals where he won three Gold Gloves and was named an all star in 1992. His nephew, Matt Pagnozzi, also made an appearance with the Cardinals as a catcher in 2009.
