This is Fire Prevention Week and the Quincy Fire Department has some activities schedule in conjunction with the week including delivering pizzas to Quincy residents. The QFD is teaming up with 5 different local pizza establishments to provide free pizza to homes that have working smoke detectors. If you order a pizza between 5 and 8pm you will have a chance to be one of 5 families each night to have your order delivered by a Quincy fire truck.  Firefighters will come to your door and also ask to check your smoke detectors.  If they are in good working order,  your pizza will be free.  If the detectors are not working, the firefighter will install a new battery or a new detector as needed before leaving the home but the owner will still have to pay for their pizza order. Listed below are the locations and dates to order.

Today from 5 to 8 from The Tower

Tuesday from 5 to 8 from Firehouse Pizza

Wednesday from 5 to 8 from Pop’s Pizza

Thursday from 5 to 8 from Papa John’s

Friday from 5 to 8 from Gem City Pizza
