FBI Investigation Underway in Monroe City
There is apparently an ongoing FBI investigation taking place in Monroe City.

In a Facebook post, Monroe County Sheriff Joe Colston reported the Federal Bureau of Investigation served a federal search warrant in Monroe City about 11:30 a.m. Monday.
Colston said he and the Monroe City Police Chief were notified of the operation prior to the search warrant being served.
Colston said that, since this is an ongoing FBI investigation, his office has no other information on the case.
