Fastest Rising Food Price in Missouri is Killing our Snack Habits
I mean no offence if you're a lettuce grower, but who cares if the price of salad goes up? The fact that the fastest rising food price in Missouri is a snack food is painful to our between meals habits.
A lot of food prices are on the rise. The new article by Stacker lists the ones rising the most though and it's...problematic. At least it is for people like me who like to have a bag of something handy to munch on.

The study says that potato chip prices in Missouri are up almost 5% from last month and almost 16% year over year.
Say it isn't so. Take the kale. You can even have the broccoli and asparagus, but please leave the potato chips alone. I also have a problem with #3 as that's beef steak and since I'm on a low-carb food routine, I NEED beef steak.
Oh, and bread is also high on the list. Not good when a basic food need that is connected to burgers and other good things costs an arm and a leg.
There are also some mystery foods in Missouri that are rising which is malt drinks. Really? The irony is that egg prices are now falling in Missouri. Bad news for chickens who are trying to make bank on their egg output.
