For people with a passion for all things chocolate, Hannibal is your go-to destination the weekend of March 8 through March 10.

You can buy passports now for the 9th Annual Chocolate Extravaganza. Standard Passports include 5 tickets that are redeemable for your choice of exclusive gifts from downtown merchants during the Chocolate Extravaganza festival such as classic sweets and treats, a chocolate pearl pendant on an sterling silver chain, a chocolate paraffin hand dip, chocolate-decadent-themed retail items, and more. They serve as your guide to a day of indulgence and relaxation in the heart of historic downtown Hannibal. You also have the option of buying an Experience Passport with 10 tickets or a Chocolatier Passport with 20 tickets to give your palate a broader experience. Prices range from $25 to $100.

All business offer passport items on Saturday and select businesses on Friday and Sunday. There will also be special coupons and discounts for chocolate passport holders. Passports purchased online are available for pick-up at the Mark Twain Museum at 120 N. Main from 10 am to 7 pm on Friday, March 8th and from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, March 9th, 2019.
