The Coronavirus Crisis has claimed another event casualty as this year's Dogwood Parade has been postponed.  Due to the uncertainty of when the stay-at-home order will be lifted in Illinois, the Blessing Health System Dogwood Festival Parade officials have decided to postpone the event.

The parade was originally set for May 2. The Chamber of Commerce plans to have a parade when it’s safe to celebrate as a community and will set a date as soon as possible.

Those who have already signed up for the parade will be able to keep their places. Registration for the parade has been closed for now, but will re-open once the Chamber is able to set a date.
