Guess who is walking in September’s Walk to End Alzheimer's?  Dennis Oliver, who made a bold move and publicly revealed he has Alzheimer's Disease last year, will again be walking this Saturday, September 15 at Clat Adams Park. Dennis is inviting everyone to fight Alzheimer’s and walk with him that morning. My friend made a bold move a year ago in telling the world he is dealing with this issue and, as strong as he is in his fight, he could really use a show of support along with others dealing with Alzheimer's on Saturday. The 22nd Annual Walk to End Alzheimer's starts with registration at 8:30 a.m. followed by a short program at 9:15 and then the walk at 9:30 this Saturday morning.

So please come out for just one hour and walk with D.O. and try to raise some money between now and September 15 to donate to his cause as well as the hundreds of others in the area suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease.

If you want to walk, but do not have a team to join, you can still raise funds as an individual walker. To sign up a team or for more information, go to www.Alz.org/walk or call 228-1111.
