What’s Next for David Letterman?

What are we going to do after David Letterman goes on his long vacation? What is David Letterman going to do? At this point, only Dave knows for sure. Or then again, maybe he doesn't know. All I know is that David Letterman made me laugh. Yes, there were nights when he bombed, but that is OK. Everybody has a night off now and then.

What do you think he will do after he hangs it up? Will he be doing stand up in a bar somewhere? Will he be doing Top Tens for the rest of his life, or will he go back to radio? Will he count his money? Time will only tell.

Remember, Dave began his career on talk radio in Indianapolis, Indiana. Will that keep him busy in retirement? Maybe if he gets bored he can spin records with Dennis and the Big Dog.

David Letterman made me laugh. And in this crazy crazy world, that is all I want. Next week is David Letterman's final week as host of the Late Show, and Stephen Colbert will take over starting in September.
