An that is a very good thing because The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers is looking at Mark Twain Lake for a big development. Mark Twain Lake covers approximately 18,000 acres surrounded by 285 miles of shoreline and approximately 38,380 acres of public land. The Corps manages 16 recreational sites,offering a variety of outdoor recreational activities including fishing,boating,water skiing, sightseeing, camping, picnicking, swimming, hiking and hunting.This is an opportunity for interested parties to submit a proposal to develop a high-quality public use commercial resort concession on 331 acres of public land.The deadline for submitting a Statement of Interest is March 15, 2016.
