If you need some nightmare fuel, I have a story from Missouri that will provide that in spades. A family in DeSoto has a problem. Their home has been invaded by hoards of venomous Copperhead snakes.

I have just come across this desperate plea on the Missouri sub-Reddit. The person who posted there says their friend is ill and is constantly encountering deadly Copperhead snakes who are entering the house into the bathroom after they have infested the crawlspace underneath the home. Ew.

What can you do if your Missouri home is infested by venomous snakes?

This person in DeSoto is apparently unable to afford a professional pest control company, but there might be another option. Some Missouri cities and counties have wildlife control officials who might be able to assist. There might also be a brave and kind handyman who would be willing to help identify entry points where the snakes are getting in and help patch them up making it more difficult for the snakes to invade. The person will obviously need professional help at some point to dissuade the snakes from making a home in the crawlspace. You don't want a Copperhead having babies and then the problem becomes even worse exponentially. All Copperheads are venomous, but the babies even more so and they can fit through smaller entry points.

Let's hope this person who's already battling health issues in DeSoto can get the help they need. No one should have to live with the reality that venomous snakes are present under their living space. Nightmare fuel indeed.
