Chick Fil A Is Coming Closer to Quincy (But Not Close Enough)
Every time an area business closes, we ask you guys what should take its place. And every time, it seems like the top three answers (in no particular order) are Olive Garden, Target, and Chick-Fil-A. Well it looks like one of those places is finally coming at least KIND of closer.
According to KHQA, Chick-Fil-A will be a part of the Western Illinois University's food court this fall. The fast food chain will be taking over the former spot of pizza joint Sbarro as their contract is ending.
If Chick-Fil-A is as popular in Macomb as it is around here, I imagine a few more people will be hitting up the WIU Student Union next year. There is still no word as to if or when Quincy will be seeing the franchise (although we've got the space and we've got the demand), we can all just patiently wait.
I do have to confess, I have never had Chick-Fil-A. But if it's as good as you all say, I guess I'm missing out. Looks like I might have to take a little trip to Macomb next fall. Who's with me?
