There's something very interesting lurking on Turtle Island in the middle of the Mississippi River. It's a circular anomaly that is viewable from space.

One of my friends shared this neat graphic today that was shared by Luke Bryant in the Things Happening in Hannibal, Missouri Facebook group. If you zoom in on Turtle Island using Google Earth, you'll see this.

I've browsed the comments on Luke's share and many think this is Native American in origin. As far as scale, it's quite large and would be quite a project for an individual to come up with.

Is it a crop circle in the middle of the river? I have no idea, but it is a very interesting...something or other that is only viewable from plane or space. Who would put it there and why?

The truth is out there. See for yourself by zooming in on the sand bar from Google Earth. It's plain as day and easy to locate.
