A Warsaw man and woman are facing burglary and theft charges in connection with a couple of incidents earlier this week.

Hancock County Sheriff Travis Duffy reports that while deputies were investigating a retail theft report from the Warsaw Dollar General Monday, a report of a residential burglary in Warsaw was taken about 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Taken into custody in connection with both cases were 36 year old Kristen Golliher and 46 year old Joseph Leeper, both of Warsaw.

Golliher has been charged with burglary. Leeper is charged with enhanced retail theft in connection with the Dollar General incident..

Golliher also has an active failure to appear warrant.

Leeper’s bond was set Wednesday at $2,500. Golliher’s bond is scheduled to be set Thursday.

The investigation into both incidents continues.
