A YouTube channel posted a video ranking the 10 Fun Places to go in Illinois with kids, and I gotta be honest I think she nails this list, except I would add one major place she missed!

A video was posted to YouTube a year ago by the YouTube channel called Nickie at Blessed Homeschool Mess that is a ranking from this woman Nickie, who is a parent, of the 10 Fun places in Illinois to go with kids, and overall I agree with a ton of her list. the list of places includes Brookfield Zoo, Illinois State Beach, Indiana Dunes, Pirates Cove, Six Flags Great America, all places that I have been to (without kids) and have enjoyed completely and I think kids would also enjoy them. There are places on her list I have never been to like Bison's Bluff, Waterfall Glen, and Cosley Zoo, so I can't speak on their worthiness of being on the list or not. BUT I definitely think this woman left off a GREAT spot to take kids in the Land of Lincoln.

That spot is Maggie Daley Park in Chicago, right next to Millenium Park (which is where the Bean is). Maggie Daley Park is the most kid and family-friendly park I have ever been to in my life, it is fantastic, it has a climbing wall, tennis courts, a rollerblading ribbon (which turns into an ice-skating ribbon in the winter), mini-golf, and one of the largest jungle gyms you've ever seen.
