Both of my parents grew up in very small rural areas. That helped shape them into the hard-working responsible people they became during their lives. Even though we moved to a town of just under 20,000, their origins in communities of only a few dozen people remained key to their values. My dad, especially, was always quick to want help neighbors with projects if they needed it. That's just the way he was raised and it all started in places like these 10 Illinois towns.
