Along with the 27 new cases in Adams County, western Illinois health departments reported an additional 30 COVID-19 cases Wednesday.

Pike County, Illinois reported 18 new lab confirmed cases – 13 females age 20s to 90s and five males age 60s to 70s.

Pike County has had a total of 220 cases, with 67 active and four hospitalized.

The Brown County Health Department reported six new coronavirus cases since Monday – four females age 30s to 90s and 2 males, age 50s and 60s.

Brown County’s COVID total is now 86, with 18 active, one hospitalized and 67 recovered.

And, the Hancock County Health Department reports six new lab-confirmed coronavirus cases – two males in their 50s to 70s and four females age 40s to 90s.

Five of the new cases are recovering at home and one has died, the fourth COVID related death in Hancock County.

Their total cases are now 276, with 37 active and 235 recovered.
