Along with the 45 new COVID cases in Adams County, there were 34 additional cases reported elsewhere in western Illinois Monday.

The Pike County Health Department reported 31 new lab confirmed cases, 19 males age teens to 90s and 12 females age 20s to 70s.

The Pike County coronavirus total is 265, with 111 active, ten hospitalized and four deaths.

The Pike County Health Department also issued a public notification of potential COVID exposure at a large gathering October 10th at Lindsay’s Tavern in Pittsfield.

The Brown County Health Department reported two new cases since Saturday, a female in her 80s and a male in his 50s, bringing their total to 98, with 23 active, one hospitalized and 75 recovered.

And, in Hancock County, officials report one new lab confirmed COVID case. Their total is now 298, with 39 active, 255 recovered and four deaths.
