Is this the official end of Mask Mandates in Illinois?
By the end of the month, Illinois will no longer have an indoor mask mandate (except for schools), but is this really the official end of mask-wearing in the Land of Lincoln?
According to news-gazette.com, Illinois will no longer have an indoor mask mandate by February, 28th. I feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day, we are once again getting news from the Governor of Illinois telling us the mask mandates are going away. It makes me wonder if this is the end of the mask mandates in Illinois? It was May of 2021 when vaccinated individuals were told they were exempt from mask mandates, only to have the mask orders reinstated by the end of August 2021. So I can't help but wonder is this the official end of mask mandates in Illinois, I got to be honest, I don't know. I thought after getting vaccinated in the spring of 2021 that would be the end of the mask-wearing, but the mandates came back. Do you think that Illinois will eventually put in another statewide mask mandate?
