Workers are scheduled to begin work on the railroad overpass on Ellington Road tomorrow.  The condition of the structure is in need of some repair according to officials at Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad Company and that work will begin Tuesday morning at 6 a.m. and should be concluded on Wednesday. As a result, Ellington Road will be closed to allow that work to be done.

Compounding the issue is the forecast of expected frigid temperatures in the single digits. As a result of the pending closure, motorists should be advised of securing an alternative route until the work is concluded.

Again, the scheduled work on this overpass is projected to be done by Wednesday,  subject to weather conditions.
