As we shared early Friday, the path of the Chinese balloon that's expected to have been used to spy crossed the entire state of Missouri including air bases and sensitive sites. Saturday afternoon, the spy balloon was shot down by the US Air Force.

Brad Panovich shared video on Twitter of 2 US Air Force planes circling the balloon just prior to shooting it down.

This is the moment when a weapon first hit the balloon.
