Top Secret ‘Nuke Sniffer’ Plane Flew a Bizarre Path over Missouri

It was a strange night in the skies over Missouri Tuesday. Most were unaware that a top secret US military 'nuke sniffer' plane followed a bizarre flight path over the state and there's evidence to prove it.

Have you ever heard of the Boeing WC-135 Constant Phoenix? The details on Wikipedia show this is a fascinating piece of military technology. They say "a special-purpose aircraft derived from the Boeing C-135 Stratolifter and used by the United States Air Force. Its mission is to collect samples from the atmosphere for the purpose of detecting and identifying nuclear explosions".

This is one of the planes based in the extreme southeast corner of Nebraska at Offutt Air Force Base. According to Flight Aware, one of these planes code named COBRA31 took off from Offutt Air Force Base and flew a strange pattern over Missouri.

Was this just a routine patrol flight or was this top secret plane looking for something? These planes are in the air frequently, so let's assume it's business as usual. Still, that flight path is bizarre compared to what I normally see on Flight Aware. The last time I saw a flight plan this odd was back in early November.

This would be less suspicious if the world conditions weren't as crazy as they are as many outlets are reporting that a US military strike against Iranian groups could be imminent. As the Middle East clashes escalate, could we see even more of these 'Doomsday Planes' airborne? Plan on it.
