Illinois Company Has Suddenly Recalled All Waffles & Pancakes

If you have picked up waffles or pancakes in Illinois recently, there's a better than average chance that they are affected by a just announced recall from a company that calls the Land of Lincoln home.

This urgent bulletin from the Food and Drug Administration says that TreeHouse Foods of Oak Brook, Illinois is recalling a mammoth amount of pancakes and waffles that have a potential Listeria contamination. Listeria can develop into a serious health problem and can even be fatal for the very young, very old and/or those with weaker immune systems.
